Before Surgery

Square jaw and long chin were my reason to get this surgery.

I was swollen for whole 3 days after the surgery.

But a lot of it went away after 5 days except cheeks!!

2 weeks later, almost all the swelling went away.

From my experience, going on a walk helped a lot!!

3 Weeks

During the 3rd week, I couldn't open my mouth big and

my chin was numb but had no problem with daily activities!!

1 Month

The swelling and numbness didn't fully go away even after a month.

But maybe a little better? 

My chin still felt numb.

And the small swellings still remained.

I was told that chin swelling was always the last to ease but I guess that was true lol

I had no problem with eating but I purposely didn't eat any chewy or hard foods, only because I was scared(;

3 Months

The senses came back after about 3 months

Especially the tip of my chin!!

The small puffiness was still there though:/

4 Months

I went to the hospital for progress checkup, and the doctor told me the bones are fully secured 

and the recovery is going well so not to worry about anything.

After that, went straight to eat LOL

Of course, I did try my best not to put any pressure hehehe

And I did not let myself eat hard food!

5 Months

After 5 months, I didn't have any discomfort on my jaw and chin!

The line came out really nice because the swelling went away(:

6 Months

Into the 6th month, all the swollenness seemed like it went away.

The line is also in place which looks really pretty!!

No side effects like cheeks sagging, and it feels so nice to recover well!
